On the other hand, newly promoted Southampton were looking to make an impression in the topflight on their return. The Saints spent a lot in their previous campaign and decided to do some tidy business on this occasion. Everton are battling several injury crisis and that has affected their team badly. Manager Sean Dyche has been under immense pressure and only a result in games like this can keep him in the job.
